PM Prompt Pack
Ready-to-use AI prompts built for Product Managers.
PM Prompt Pack covers six high-leverage workflow areas for product managers: lean PRDs and spec efficiency, build-vs-buy decisions and vendor evaluations, growth experimentation, incident response and postmortems, personal brand and career, and sustainable async operations. Every prompt is engineered with explicit reasoning steps, scoped output formats, and clear constraints, so you get a usable first draft no matter which AI tool you paste it into.

Who this is for
Built for Product Managers who already know what they want from the AI and need the prompts to produce it with the least amount of follow-up. If you've found yourself rewriting AI prompts after the first response, this pack does that work upfront, so the first answer is the one you can actually use.
What you'll get
- Get usable first drafts, fewer iterations to reach a shareable result
- Get the same shape of answer whether you use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
- Skip the re-prompting, every prompt names the exact output format you'll get
- Stop generic AI drift, built-in audience and tone constraints keep output role-appropriate
- Tackle multi-step PM work confidently, prompts walk the model through the reasoning, not just the ask
- Save senior judgment for the edits, not the prompt rewrites

Stakeholder PRD Summary
I am a Product Manager who has finished a detailed PRD for [feature name] and now need a short summary for stakeholders who will not read the full spec. Here is the PRD: [paste PRD]. Think step by step: 1. Pull out the single user problem this feature solves and state it in business terms. 2. Summarise the proposed solution in two sentences, what it does and how the user experiences it. 3. List the three decisions or dependencies stakeholders need to be aware of. 4. Name the launch target and the one metric we will judge success by. Output as a stakeholder summary with sections, Problem, Solution, What we need from you, Launch target, Success metric. Keep it under 200 words and write it so a busy director can scan it in 90 seconds.
Technical Spec Translator
I am a Product Manager who needs to turn an engineering design doc into plain-language requirements the wider team can review. Here is the technical document: [paste design doc or technical notes]. Think step by step: 1. Identify what the system will do from the user's point of view, strip out implementation detail. 2. Restate each technical decision as a user-facing behaviour or constraint. 3. Flag any technical choice that has a visible product trade-off (latency, data limits, edge-case handling) so non-engineers can weigh in. 4. List the open technical questions that still need a product decision. Output as a plain-language requirements brief with sections, What this does for users, Behaviours and constraints, Product trade-offs to confirm, Open questions. Use language a non-technical PM, designer, or marketer can follow. Keep it under 350 words.
User Story Splitter
I am a Product Manager who needs to break a large epic into shippable user stories for [feature name]. Here is the epic description: [paste epic or describe scope]. Think step by step: 1. Identify the thin end-to-end slice that delivers value soonest, that becomes story one. 2. Split the rest along boundaries of user value, not technical layers, so each story is independently shippable and demoable. 3. Write each story in the standard 'As a (type of user), I want (goal), so that (benefit)' form. 4. For each story, add 2–3 acceptance criteria and a rough size (S / M / L). 5. Flag any story that still feels too big to finish in one sprint and suggest where to split it further. Output as a backlog-ready list, each story with its acceptance criteria, size, and sequencing note. Order the stories by recommended build sequence.
