Interview Notes Synthesis

I am a UX Designer synthesising findings from user interviews about [topic or product area]. Here are my raw interview notes: [paste notes from all sessions]. Think step by step: 1. Pull out the recurring themes across participants, group related observations rather than listing them per session. 2. For each theme, capture the underlying user need or pain point beneath the surface comment. 3. Note where participants disagreed or behaved differently from what they said. 4. Pull two or three verbatim quotes that best illustrate the strongest themes. Output as a synthesis with sections, Key themes (each with the need beneath it), Tensions and contradictions, Supporting quotes. Order themes by how often they appeared and how strongly they were felt. Keep it to one page.

Affinity Map Cluster

I am a UX Designer turning scattered research observations into an affinity map for [project name]. Here are the individual observations and data points: [paste observations, one per line if possible]. Think step by step: 1. Group the observations into clusters of related ideas, let the groupings emerge from the data, not from preset categories. 2. Give each cluster a short, insight-led label that names the pattern, not just the topic. 3. For each cluster, write a one-sentence 'so what' that states what this means for the design. 4. Flag any observation that doesn't fit a cluster as a potential outlier worth a second look. Output as an affinity map summary, each cluster as a labelled section with its observations listed beneath and its 'so what' line, followed by an Outliers section. Make the labels specific enough to act on.

Persona From Research

I am a UX Designer building a user persona grounded in research for [product name]. Here is what the research tells me about this user group: [paste research findings, behaviours, and quotes]. Think step by step: 1. Identify the defining behaviours and goals that actually distinguish this user, not demographics for their own sake. 2. Capture their main goals, the jobs they're trying to get done, and what success looks like for them. 3. Capture their key frustrations and current workarounds, grounded in the evidence. 4. Add a realistic scenario showing when and why they'd use the product. Output as a persona with sections, Name and one-line summary, Goals and jobs to be done, Frustrations and workarounds, A day-in-the-life scenario, Key quote. Keep every trait traceable to the research; don't invent details the data doesn't support.
